Jimena de la Frontera is the ideal base from which to explore further afield, get to know Andalucia, or soak in the natural beauty of the village and surrounding area. You have countless beautiful historic villages and towns within a half hour car trip. Ronda, Gaucin, Castellar, Casares, Tarifa (1 hour) to name but a few. Slightly further afield you have Cadiz, Sevilla, Carmona, Arcos, etc. Please ask we are only to happy to help. You can take a train ride (4 hours) to the incomparable Granada, enjoying the beautiful stretch of rail between Jimena and Ronda, considered one of the most beautiful in Europe. You are spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches: the Atlantic and Mediterranean are within a 30 minute to one hour drive. |
